Squirm Gallery is a DIY project space independently operated by a small team of artists who are deeply entrenched in the Denver scene. For the past two years, we have organized community art and music events, platforming both emerging underground artists and more established creatives. These events have been funded completely with money from our own pockets and love from our hearts. This labor of love ultimately costs a lot. We do not make a profit from these events, as is the nature of DIY. We often struggle to make rent, partly due to our belief that anyone who wants to engage with our community should be able to, regardless of financial contribution.

We need your help to keep our space accessible. Being located in an increasingly gentrified neighborhood that works against our community has contributed to our precarious situation. We aim to safely continue the legacy of 3553 Brighton Blvd while expanding on our renewed creative mission. Big expenses include maintaining our sound system which is vital to providing a quality experience for both performers and attendees, and general costs necessary to meeting citywide standards of operation.
