Hello. My name is Ash. I am making this go fund me with the hopes of getting some help covering the cost of vet bills for my kitty squanchy.

My cat squanchy was found as a stray in 2021. He was chipped, but his owners didn’t want him anymore. We knew immediately he would be a great fit for our little family. He is such a sweet boy. So so much personality. He loves anyone he meets, and anyone he meets loves him.

Since the start of March, his health has been declining. It started out with him sneezing and being congested. He was put on medication and was expected to be better within a week or so. He has only gotten worse and now has developed scabs covering his nose and now spreading to his mouth. After 5-6 visits to his vet, countless tests, and thousands of dollars spent, they told me they don’t know how else to help. They referred me to an internal medicine specialist. As I write this he is currently there getting an ultrasound. The cost of that alone is $950. They want to do X-rays, bloodwork, place a feeding tube, do a biopsy on his nose, urinalysis, and other tests as well.

We are hoping to get more answers, but I was told to expect to pay $2,000-$3,000 for this visit today, if not more. Money is already tight, and with all these bills, I’m not sure how much more we can afford. I’m going to do everything I can to help him, but I am fearful of what the future holds for him, as well as financially. My family recommended making a go fund me with the hopes of getting some help with these bills. As of right now I have spent around $4,000, and I’m expecting for that to probably double after today’s appointment. I do not expect anyone to donate. I know times are tough for everyone right now. here is squanchy as of today. We went to the vet yesterday and got many tests done as well as a feeding tube placed. He is home and seems to be doing ok.
