Support the new Volleyball Club for Teen girls!

Hello! My name is Jane. I am a local Squamish resident, mom of three girls and newest member of Squamish Volleyball Club - a local organization run by volunteers aimed to increase physical literacy, foster community and increase skill in the sport of volleyball.
This awesome volleyball club began in November 2021, after the local school volleyball season ended. We all saw the overwhelming demand for participation in the local middle and high school volleyball teams - our girls were enthusiastic and excited to play - and due to a short season and limited resources, the season would be over just as the girls were hitting their stride.
Amber Pascual collected a group of talented and dedicated volunteer coaches from our community and coordinated a developmental league night once a week - a place for fun, skill building and engagement. Within a couple weeks it was clear there was demand for more - and within 2 short months Squamish Volleyball Club has grown from one night a week to hosting 5 practices for 3 competitive teams and a 40 person recreational evening EACH WEEK! That is a total of 12 coaches working with 85 young women - providing upwards of 44 hours of volleyball each month!
As you can see, our initial idea for the Squamish Volleyball Club has taken off - and we need your help to keep the ball in the air! Our dreams to keep costs low for our amazing young members and offer top notch programs for as many kids as we can can only go as far as our dollars - rental for gyms is expensive - let alone the cost for uniforms, equipment and insurance etc you get the idea.
We want to see the SCV “Wild” succeed and we need help! We are asking for our community to help us do so! Anything you can spare/share is so welcome! Thank you all in advance and for helping us keep the spirit of activity, teamwork, healthy living alive!
