On February 27th, 2 year old Aubriella was diagnosed with Stage D Retinoblastoma in her left eye. During exploratory surgery on February 28th, it was found that the tumor had taken over the majority of the left eye and unfortunately cancer was found behind the right eye as well. An MRI is being performed to ensure the cancer has not metastasized anywhere else in her body. On March 11th, sweet Aubriella will undergo surgery for removal of the left eye and the implantation of a radiation disc in her right eye with hopes of saving it. Aubriella will eventually be fitted for a prosthetic eye. This is just the beginning of a very long journey for this sweet girl along with her big brother and parents. There will be multiple appointments in Cleveland that Aubriella needs to attend in order to receive care. That mean she needs her mommy and daddy by her side.

Retinoblastoma is a rare childhood cancer of the eye with 3 cases per 1 million people. There are only a little over 300 new cases annually in the U.S. Of those cases only 40% are bilateral, in both eyes. (Cleveland Clinic)

All received donations will go toward medical costs and travel expenses. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
