Support Spyke in his recovery
My loving community,
I must ask for assistance on behalf of our sweet Spyke, our family member for 8 years. He suddenly fell gravely ill yesterday while on his walk with my parents and brother. The weather was humid and so warm, that he collapsed with heat stroke. I picked them up as soon as they called for help, and we immediately brought him to his veterinarian. Just 24 hours later, we’re seeing the extent of his condition on his body systems, from shock to DIC, kidney and liver failure. We’re praying he recovers, but it’s all still so uncertain. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment has quickly become beyond what my family can afford. He’s been on a continuous IV infusion, platelet administration, multiple medications, and more. The most pressing issue currently is kidney failure. My poor, sweet boy needs your prayers and good wishes, and I need whatever monetary help you can offer. If you have ever loved a pet, you know how heartsick and worried we are. If your fur baby has ever been sick, you know how important it is to be able to pay for treatment, and how desperate it feels to not have unlimited funds to save the sweetest, most loyal member of your family! Debo pedir ayuda en nombre de nuestro dulce Spyke, nuestro miembro de la familia durante 8 años. De repente cayó gravemente enfermo ayer mientras caminaba con mis padres y mi hermano. El clima era húmedo y muy cálido que colapsó por un golpe de calor. Los recogí tan pronto como pidieron ayuda, e inmediatamente lo llevamos a su veterinario. Solo 24 horas después, estamos viendo la extensión de su condición en los sistemas de su cuerpo, desde shock hasta coagulación intravascular diseminada, insuficiencia renal y hepática. Estamos rezando para que se recupere, pero aun esta grave y todo sigue siendo muy incierto. Desafortunadamente, el costo del tratamiento se ha convertido rápidamente más allá de lo que mi familia puede pagar. Ha estado en una infusión intravenosa continua, administración de plaquetas, múltiples medicamentos y más. El problema más apremiante actualmente es la insuficiencia renal. Mi pobre y dulce niño necesita tus oraciones y buenos deseos, y yo necesito cualquier ayuda monetaria que puedas ofrecer. Si alguna vez has amado a una mascota, sabes lo angustiados y preocupados que estamos. Si su bebé de pelaje alguna vez estuvo enfermo, ¡sabe lo importante que es poder pagar el tratamiento y lo desesperado que es no tener fondos ilimitados para salvar al miembro más dulce y leal de su familia!
