Keep yoga and meditation in our community!

Most people run businesses, work jobs and hold titles. For me, my work is a sacred service to the community. It is my life and the #1 reason that makes my life worth living. My work is my waking meditation where my heart and soul unite to consciously serve.
How we got started:
In 2018, I resigned from my corporate career to seek happiness and contentment. Soon after, I was brought to the awareness of my life purpose. In the Fall of 2018, I founded Spiritual Alignment with the purpose of spreading yoga and meditation within the Bay Area. I am joined by my hubby and twenty four incredibly talented yoga instructors and staff for this mission. We started from scratch and established a lovely yoga studio in Niles, Fremont. Approximately a year later, we took over another beautiful yoga studio in Belmont - Prajna Center.
What kept us going:
Community holds a strong place in my heart, and I have worked tirelessly to build and uphold two incredible communities to bring the vital practice of yoga and nourishment of meditation and breath work to all who need it. Each one of Spiritual Alignment teachers and staff work to create a valuable, sacred space where students feel seen and supported in a place where they can be expressive, creative, vulnerable and free. It has been our honor to be there to help so many students break barriers, achieve goals, find strength and discover themselves. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.
How we responded to the Pandemic:
The recent pandemic and subsequent shelter in place order has put us in a situation where we were forced to close our businesses for the foreseeable future. My teachers and staff acted quickly to ensure our community could continue to practice, and brought online streaming classes right away. These beautiful classes have been well received and have filled my heart to see our community truly embodying alone-together.
Now, we ask for your help in return.
Our businesses have been hit incredibly hard, losing around 50% of our monthly revenue. Many established yoga studios around us have closed down. The reality is that we may never get back to the pre-pandemic state. In fact, we may have to establish a thriving business from scratch yet again. Knowing that there is a long road of challenges and uncertainty ahead of us, yet our hearts are full of spark and passion for spreading more yoga and meditation. It is my desire to re-open both studios and get them ready for return.
Your donation is going to help us stay afloat. I am deeply grateful for any amount that you feel comfortable in contributing.
It is my absolute #1 priority to pay my teachers who have been impacted. All the donations received will be utilized to cover continued payroll expenses, rent and re-opening costs that include marketing, putting in proper systems and sanitization processes, adhering to State Government’s social distancing guidelines. My intent is to also offer yoga and meditation to underserved populations. Using these funds, we will deepen our community outreach efforts and create free offerings for the first responders that are serving on the frontlines.
More Yoga and More Meditation is what this world needs. Your help can make this a reality.
Thank you for all your support and for reading thus far. Namaste!
