Support Spike Johnson's Stroke Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Spike Johnson. Up until December 13, 2024, I was an extremely healthy personal trainer with clients who ranged in age from 15 to 92. However, that all changed on the morning of December 13, 2024, when I had a stroke while training one of my clients. Thankfully, she called my wife and the squad! My blood pressure was the issue, and while in the ER, I suffered another acute hemorrhagic stroke, which left me with left-sided weakness in my leg and arm/hand, as well as some slight memory issues. I was in ICU for three days, the hospital for seven days, and then transferred to a rehabilitation hospital. I was in a hospital of some type for a total of four weeks. Once I came home, I received in-home therapies to assist me in strengthening my left side.
Although I have come a long way since December 13, I still have a long road of therapies to tackle before I can start back to work. My wife, Jennifer, has been working throughout this entire challenge, but having one income doesn't come close to covering the medical bills that continue to come in. As I continue to work towards recovery, more bills will continue to come our way.
I am launching this fundraiser to assist my family and I pay these medical bills. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will assist us in paying these bills. Not only that, it will ease my mind and enable me to focus on my recovery.
