Support Spencer through the impacts of Hurricane Helene

Hi Everyone. We have started a Go Fund Me page to support our dear friend and trusted colleague, Spencer Burness, and his family as they navigate the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. For those who don't know, Spencer is a Director who has been with the firm for almost 9 years. He is very active in the Payments and Core Banking space, and if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet, you have probably heard him speak on an All Hands Call or liaised with him across one of the many initiatives he helps to coordinate.

He lives in Bradenton, Florida, which is right off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and very close to where Hurricane Helene made landfall, with his wife and two young kids (including a newborn baby!). Thankfully, Spencer and his family were able to make it to safety amidst major flooding and torrential rain. However, in the wake of the hurricane, their home has suffered significant damage, leaving them without a safe and stable place to reside. Additionally, they have lost nearly all of their belongings due to the destructive power of Hurricane Helene. Spencer and his family are now looking for a place to stay after being displaced, and their path back home is not only unclear but likely quite lengthy.

The purpose of this Go Fund Me campaign is simply to allow our team to send their empathy and positive thoughts to Spencer and his family during this hard time. While looking for a new place to live without almost anything from their normal daily lives, the hope is that together, we can provide some financial relief and much-needed well wishes.

Spencer is an integral part of the COFS community and is someone who is always willing to support those around him. Let's come together as a community to uplift and support him and his family during this challenging time. Your generosity and compassion can help them on their journey to recovery.

Funds will be distributed directly to Spencer electronically at the end of the campaign.
