Support Spencer & her family as she fights cancer

Asking for help is incredibly hard when the reason seems unfathomable, a child with cancer. We hope you can hear her story and act by contributing or sharing this fundraiser.

SPENCER'S STORY

In March of this year, eight-year-old Spencer started complaining of stomach pain, shoulder pain, and frequent headaches. Despite her parents taking her to doctors and into the ER over the coming months with worsening symptoms all of their worries were written off for benign reasons, leaving them with questions and a child who felt unheard. With persistence and requests for further follow-ups for an x-ray, they discovered that Spencer had a lesion on her ribs which resulted in yet another ER trip, this time she was admitted for testing.

Last Thursday, October 12, 2023, Spencer Thomas's cancer diagnosis, Ewing Sarcoma on three of her ribs, was delivered to her parents. They are currently undergoing further testing and within the next 48 hours hope to be in Memphis under the care of St. Jude.

THEIR FUTURE

Though we do not yet know the treatments that Spencer will have to undergo at St. Jude we do know she will be in the best of hands. Owen & Bridget, Spencer's parents, will be dropping everything to be by their daughter's side as she fights this disease.

Relieving some financial pressure during this difficult journey is incredibly appreciated by their family. Everything donated will help Owen & Bridget stay afloat with any personal expenses back home (car, house, and cellphone bills, etc) and assist with any travel, food, and lodging that may not be covered through St. Jude over the coming months.
