Help Make a Difference at Metamora Grade School!

For my birthday this year, I’m hoping to raise funds for a cause that has truly touched my heart: Metamora Grade School. I have had the pleasure of being a substitute teacher this year and have gotten to work alongside many incredible educators and students. I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication and love that teachers pour into their classrooms every day. They truly go above and beyond, even using their own money to provide snacks, materials, and supplies for their students. I’ve joked many times asking if they even get a paycheck, but it has become obvious that teaching isn’t a job, it’s a purpose.

I’ve seen teachers that are stretched too thin in tears after a tough day as well as students in tears while working through their own challenges.

I’m setting a goal to raise $250 to give directly to the Special Education department at MGS. Every single donation will be matched by The Rubel Home Team with RE/MAX Traders Unlimited, doubling the impact we can make together!

If you’d prefer to donate outside of GoFundMe, I’m happy to arrange a pick-up, it would just need to be a check payable to MGS. I hope this goes well and I hope to do something like this every year!!
