We are celebrating 10 years as a nonprofit rescue on November 6, 2014. Please consider making a donation to help us continue making a difference for the 'forgotten felines'.

Sparkle Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501c3 nonprofit organization in Burlington, NC with a mission to save the 'forgotten felines': abandoned, abused, homeless, injured, neglected. There are no paid employees and there is no facility. Cats are placed in foster homes where they receive much needed medical attention and socialization while they wait to be adopted. Sparkle Cat Rescue has had a number of special needs kitties over the years: Feline Diabetes, FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), Blind, Deaf, Shy. Cats that are rescued do not have a deadline to be adopted - they may stay in the rescue as long as needed and many have stayed the rest of their lives when they are not adopted.

Your donations are tax-deductible and will help with vet care (spay/neuter, microchip, combo testing for FIV/FELV, vaccinations, flea prevention, deworming, unexpected emergencies, FIP treatment, dental surgeries, limb amputation, eye removals, etc). Donations also help with food and litter expenses, and flea prevention/Capstar, as well as any other necessary supplies (paper goods, cat furniture, cat beds, etc.).
