Support Spaghetti's Life-Saving Treatment

Hi, my name is Gabriela and I’m reaching out for support with something deeply personal and incredibly urgent.

This past weekend, my sweet dog Spaghetti was rushed to the emergency vet and diagnosed with pyothorax — a rare and life-threatening lung infection that filled her chest cavity with over 250cc of fluid. She’s currently fighting for her life, and with the right care, she still has a chance to make it.

Spaghetti is not just my dog — she’s my miracle.

She was rescued from a horrific hoarding and breeding warehouse in Texas in 2019. When she was found, she was so emaciated they weren’t sure she would survive. But somehow, this tiny, stubborn, beautiful spirit pulled through.

Just one month earlier, I had lost my heart dog — Chantilly Lace — to a nerve sheath tumor. I wasn’t looking to adopt again, but Spaghetti kept popping up. I believe Chantilly sent her to me. Since then, Spaghetti has been the light that helped me climb out of grief, and she’s filled my life with so much joy, laughter, and love.

She’s been by my side through every challenge. Now it’s my turn to fight for her.

Despite her diagnosis, Spaghetti is still alert, eating, wagging her tail, and trying to cuddle her brother. She wants to live. But the cost of ongoing treatment — including imaging, fluid drainage, antibiotics, and possible hospitalization — is beyond what I can manage alone.

I recently left my job and am relocating to California to start a new chapter. Unfortunately, this has left me without the financial safety net to handle an emergency of this scale. I would give anything to help her — and now, I’m asking for your help too.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward her medical care. Anything helps — even just sharing this with someone who might be able to give.
