Welcome! We are residents of South Hanover Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities raising funds to retain legal counsel regarding a proposed hyperscale data center development.
While residents living closest to the proposed site face the most immediate impacts, the decisions being made today could affect the broader Lower Dauphin community for decades. Families throughout South Hanover Township, Hummelstown, Hershey, and neighboring areas share concerns about potential impacts to quality of life, water resources, traffic, noise, lighting, public services, property values, and the character of our community.
Our community is seeking representation from experienced land use attorney Bill Cluck to help review the submitted applications by the developer, support the Zoning Board Hearing for directly impacted residents, the proposed ordinances, and development plans, ensure community interests are properly represented, and assist in discussions with Township officials and the developer regarding meaningful protections for residents. The developer submitted applications that are now moving through the Township review process, and residents need qualified legal representation before key decisions are made.
Whether you live adjacent to the proposed site, have children attending schools in the Lower Dauphin School District, enjoy recreation along the Swatara Creek, or value the unique character of the Hershey area, this proposal has the potential to affect us all.
If you would prefer to contribute by check, please contact us through our email.
We are committed to transparency. A full accounting of all funds received and disbursed will be made available to contributors. Any funds remaining after legal services have been completed will be directed toward supporting neighboring Pennsylvania communities facing similar data center proposals.
Thank you for helping ensure that local residents have a voice in decisions that will shape our community’s future.
