Help Us Open South Charlotte’s First Adventure Kitten Café

Most kittens in shelters don’t get adopted because they’re “bad"

They’re just scared, unsocialized, and misunderstood.

We want to change that.

We’re building South Charlotte’s first Adventure Kitten Café! It's a space where rescue kittens are not only cared for, but also: trained, socialized, and prepared for real life in their forever homes.

Through our program, kittens will spend 8–12 weeks:

• Learning to walk comfortably on a leash

• Becoming confident around people

• Getting used to new environments, sounds, and experiences

• Building trust through daily interaction and play

• Being comfortable around children

By the time they’re adopted, they won’t just be cute, they’ll be social and ready to go to their furever home.

This doesn’t just help kittens.

It also:

• Reduces returns and rehoming

• Frees up space in shelters

• Increases visibility for older cats who need homes

Pawterning with local shelters in Charlotte, we’re creating a new standard for cat adoption.

We’re raising $10,000 to bring this vision to life.

• Secure a location in South Charlotte

• Build a safe, enriching space for our kittens

• Purchase training tools and supplies

• Begin working with our first rescue kittens

The café will also offer:

• Cat-themed drinks for both humans and cats

• Cat themed community events

• Educational workshops and training sessions
