Support Sourabh & Kortney's IVF Journey

We are Sourabh & Kortney Keshri living in Santa Barbara, CA. We just finished an unsuccessful round of IVF. After 73 injections, 104 pills, 8 blood draws, and 1 dye test… our IVF journey ended in heartbreak. 7 eggs were retrieved, 5 were mature, and 4 were fertilized and transferred back into my uterus, but none stuck. We collected a lot of baby items, planned out names, and really thought our dream would happen, but it didn’t in the first round of IVF.

We aren’t ready to close the door on this dream and are asking for donations in hopes we can have our own baby soon. Because of my age, sooner is better than later. Also, my ovary stimulation took about 15 days rather than the normal 10 days because of my slow-growing follicles. These additional days required more medicine, which we are factoring into our goal amount.

Our goal amount would include: the procedure, surgery room, anesthesia, and medications/injections.

We understand that in a world full of urgent needs, asking for help with something like IVF might raise questions. This isn't a matter of survival in the traditional sense — but it is deeply personal, emotional, and life-defining for Infertility is a medical condition that affects millions of people. For us, the chance to build a family isn't something we take for granted. It's not about "just wanting a baby" — it's about grieving a path we thought would come naturally and trying to find hope in a process that is emotionally, physically, and financially draining. IF is expensive. Insurance rarely covers it fully, and the costs quickly climb into the tens of thousands of dollars - for a chance at something most people get to experience without a second thought. We're not asking because we feel entitled. We're asking because we've exhausted our options, and we believe in the kindness of community. We know people are fighting many battles. This is ours. And if you're able and willing to support us - whether through donations, words of encouragement, or simply by sharing — we are incredibly grateful.
