Support Sorin's Fight Against Guillain-Barré Syndrome
Donation protected
Over the past couple of weeks, my family and I have faced an unexpected and heartbreaking challenge. My 38-year-old cousin, Sorin, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) a rare and potentially life-threatening autoimmune disorder that attacks the peripheral nervous system, causing paralysis.
He was rushed to the ICU, but due to the rarity of GBS, he was transferred to a specialized hospital in Germany for advanced treatment. His road to recovery will be long and could take months or even years, but we remain hopeful that he will regain his strength, especially for his family.
To raise awareness and help fundraise for his overwhelming medical expenses, I am running the 2025 VPC 50K Ultra Marathon in just under six weeks.
If are able to contribute or simply share his story, it would mean the world to us. Your kindness and support during this difficult time makes all the difference!
