Soren has always been the person who quietly and consistently shows up for others. He is a loyal friend, and someone who gives to everyone around him. Recently, he took the big step of moving into his own home, starting this new chapter with hope and independence. After months of ongoing health challenges (5 visits to the ER without relief), his journey took an unexpected turn: two days ago, he had to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery. While the surgery went well, he now faces several weeks of recovery at home without pay—while also managing the expenses of his new household and medical debt.
