My sister Sophie is incredibly hardworking and determined. She started at community college, working every year to pay her way. Later, she transferred to the University of Washington, earning degrees in Microbiology and Anthropology while supporting herself and living with our family to save money.

Sophie faced many challenges but never gave up on her dream of becoming a doctor. She always put her education and future patients first, making sacrifices and working hard. During medical school, she worked in research at Harborview Medical Center, focusing on cardiac arrest in Seattle and underserved communities. And not to mention- the 100+ quilts she made for patients.

Now, Sophie is about to graduate and start her residency, but she has significant student loans. I want to help her begin this next chapter with less financial stress. Every dollar raised will go toward her loan payments so she can focus on her residency and her dream of becoming an ER doctor.
