I’m Lucy, a close friend of Sophie, and I’m creating this fundraiser on her behalf during an unimaginably difficult time.

Sophie and her husband Aleks recently lost their beautiful daughter, Lorena. Lorena was just 11 months old. A happy, smiley little girl who was truly their world and so deeply loved by everyone around her.

Tragically, Lorena passed away in her sleep, leaving Sophie and Aleks completely heartbroken.

Sophie and Aleks are desperate to bring Lorena back to England so she can have her final resting place at home. This process and the funeral arrangements come with significant costs at an already devastating time.

This fundraiser has been set up to help cover the expenses of bringing Lorena home, funeral costs, and to provide some support with living expenses over the coming months so Sophie and Aleks can take the time they need to grieve without the added financial pressure.
