The Lopez family would greatly appreciate support for their 6 month-old, Sophia, and her hospital bills. She was admitted to the hospital on Friday, October 17th, for a salmonella infection that became septic. She is now on antibiotics and being carefully monitored. They are still evaluating the damage of the infection, but as of now, they know it has not impacted her brain. They will remain in the hospital until her blood cultures come back negative.
