Hello, my name is Sophia, and I’m a Black transgender woman reaching out to share a deeply personal and important goal with you. I am on a journey of becoming my true self, and one of the final steps in aligning my body with my identity is undergoing Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS). This surgery would help me feel more at home in my body and present myself authentically to the world.

As a disabled woman, I face additional challenges every day, both physically and financially. I am only able to work part-time, which makes it incredibly difficult to save the money needed for such an expensive procedure. On top of the surgery costs, I also need to travel across the country to a specialized surgeon, adding travel and accommodation expenses to the already significant financial burden.
