Help Sophia Pursue Their Dream of Art

Hello, I’m reaching out to the community to support an incredible young artist, Sophia Smith, a high school student with a passion for art and an undeniable talent. Sophia has been accepted into a prestigious pre-college summer art program at Rhode Island School of Design, but in order to attend the country’s top rated art school and continue their journey in the world of art, they need some financial help. This program only selects 550 students world wide for a 5 week college experience.

Sophia has always shown a deep love for creativity and has dedicated countless hours to refining their skills. Sophia has spent time working with a local program called Bangor Beautiful, helping bring art to the Bangor area with murals. This past fall Sophia and another student were selected to design the Husson University Veterans Honor Mural. Their work has already begun to inspire others, but this opportunity could change everything for them. Whether it’s helping with tuition, buying materials, or covering travel costs to the summer program, your support will directly impact their future.

We have a very limited time frame and the payment for tuition needs to be paid in full by March 5th. Unfortunately, Sophia was unable to receive a scholarship.

How Your Contribution Helps:

Funding tuition for advanced art programs (room & board, meals) after $1000 deposited= $11095 (due March 5th)

Art Supplies (estimated cost) $800

Purchase of a required laptop ($300-$500)

Short Term Health Care (5wks) $222

Every donation, no matter how small, will help Sophia continue to grow as an artist and make their dreams a reality. Your generosity will allow them to expand their horizons, learn from the best, and ultimately give back to the art community.
