On March 9, 2025, our beloved Tammy Blanton tragically passed away in a car accident caused by a drunk driver—right in front of her daughter, Sophia Blanton. In a single heartbreaking moment, Sophia lost not only her mother but also her sense of stability and the life they had built together.

Tammy was a beloved art teacher for twenty years, known for her creativity, kindness, and passion for the arts. She found joy in creating, hunting for shark teeth, and making sea glass trees—always alongside her beloved daughter, Sophia. As a devoted single mother, Tammy and Sophia shared an unbreakable bond, built on love, creativity, and adventure. Her artistic spirit came to life at her studio, Beach Happy Market in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, where she inspired countless others with her talent and passion.
