Soogie was recently involved in a head-on vehicle collision caused by a wrong-way driver, in which her dear friend Kaitlyn Spahr lost her life. (There is also a GoFundMe page for her family - please consider sharing or donating there too!)

Soogie herself suffered extensive injuries and remains hospitalized. While we still don't know the full extent of her injuries, Soogie has already had multiple surgeries and has a long recovery ahead of her. We anticipate that the costs of her medical care and recovery will be significant.

Soogie is a friend to so many, and we've missed her smile, the brightness she brings into every room she enters, and her sharp sense of humor. She's a beloved wife and a cherished daughter. She's also a dedicated public servant, a passionate attorney, and a loving momma of fur-babies waiting for her to come home.
