In January, I received the life-changing news that I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Since then, my world has been filled with doctor visits, tests, and tough decisions. On March 23, I underwent a lumpectomy, and five lymph nodes were removed as part of my treatment. Now, my journey continues with six weeks of radiation, some chemotherapy, and a hormone blocker that I’ll need to take for the next ten years.
I am grateful to be able to work and have insurance, but unfortunately, my insurance will not cover all of my radiation and chemotherapy costs. The financial burden of these treatments is overwhelming, and I am doing my best to stay strong and positive through it all.
The funds raised here will go directly toward my medical bills and help me pay my bills during this challenging time. Please, if you could help, I would so appreciate it—and if you can't, I completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser also means so much. Anything helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and God Bless.
