My name is Glenn Smith, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my longtime friend, George Fiori, who is courageously battling ALS. As George’s attorney-in-fact under his power of attorney, I am helping raise funds to support his medical care, in-home assistance, and essential daily living needs during this difficult time.

For decades, George Fiori has been part of the heart of Sonoma County - serving great food, warm hospitality, and creating places where friends, families, and neighbors came together.

Now, George needs our help.

George is courageously battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), a devastating illness that has dramatically affected his health and independence. In addition to the devastating physical effects of ALS, George is facing significant financial hardship and mounting care expenses, including the cost of the in-home care he depends on every day. ️

Many in our community know George from the restaurants and gathering places that became local favorites over the years - from his family’s landmark Italian restaurant in Occidental to well-known Santa Rosa establishments such as The Music Box, Fiori & Grace, Buns & Burgers, and Fiori’s Grill. ‍ ️

George spent much of his life giving to this community through his generosity, hospitality, and friendship. He helped create memories and bring people together for generations of Sonoma County families. ♥️

Today, it is our turn to give back.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward helping George cover his essential living expenses and the cost of the care he needs during this incredibly difficult time.
