My name is Sonny, and I have called Burns, Oregon my home since 2017. I am currently facing terminal cancer, and the journey has been incredibly challenging for both me and my family. I traveled to Portland to seek treatment, but unfortunately, I have been unable to work since 2023. As a result, my savings have been depleted, and I am now struggling to cover even the most basic expenses.
What weighs on me most is the thought of leaving my family with a financial burden after I am gone. I am a father of three—my wife and I live in Burns with our 13-year-old son, and my two adult children are here in Portland. I know that my family does not have the means to pay for my final expenses. My unemployment and negative bank account have made things even more difficult, and I want to do everything I can to ease their stress during this heartbreaking time.
I am seeking help to cover burial and funeral costs, moving expenses so my wife and I can return home to Burns, and some overdue utility bills. Any support you can give would mean the world to us. Your kindness will help us find peace and stability in my final days, and ensure that my family is not left with additional worries. Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult chapter.
