Hi everyone. I'm Sonjia Turner, and I'm starting this fundraiser for myself. On November 16, 2025, I was diagnosed with Carcinoma Lung Cancer Stage 4. The doctor implanted a port in my chest so I could receive chemotherapy treatments. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me. I have already received two rounds of chemo and will begin my third round soon. I have received multiple fluid infusions, done lots of lab work, had multiple doctors' appointments, various scans, taken medications for nausea and pain, and been hospitalized several times since starting my treatments.

While insurance is helping, I am facing astronomical out-of-pocket costs for ongoing chemo treatments, medications, travel, scans, and hospital stays. Insurance covers a portion, but I am responsible for a significant share of these expenses. I am on disability and unable to work, leaving me struggling to cover basic living expenses while focusing on recovery. Any donation, no matter how small, helps relieve this overwhelming burden.
