This holiday season, help build a home and rebuild a life.

Somni, pictured below, works as a domestic help in rural India to make ends meet. Her husband passed away years ago, and she lives with her only son, whom she helps support.

The house they live in (pictured below) is in an area affected by frequent water logging. It has a leaking roof and is largely uninhabitable. With her savings and the help of others, Somni has managed to buy some land in a more livable area. However, the cost of building a house there is way beyond her means.

It would mean a lot to me if together we could help raise an amount that can help Somni achieve her dreams.

Your donations will go directly toward:

Construction costs

Labor and essential utilities

Basic furnishing to make the space livable

Every dollar brings us one step closer to giving Somni a livable home.
