Why we need your Help
We have been working hard to bring change to social media and have purposely not sought institutional investors because many companies lose control this way and then cannot execute on the original vision. It is extremely important that we execute on our vision.
Our Vision
We want people to be able to have full control over their data and privacy and to be rewarded for all contributions they make to social media. We don't believe that social media platforms should sell data behind anyone's back without their permission, rather people should be able to share the data if & when they decide to and if they do they should be able to earn money from advertisers! If they do not want to share they should be able to turn off data sharing and advertisements at any time. We call this system "Ad-Share" and it is right now still being tested.
People should also be able to earn from the time spent and valuable content they contribute to social media - which is a feature we have integrated now that helps people around the world.
Currently we have a live web and IOS /Android applications (in beta) with 80,000 users that love what we're doing, but we need to get to the next level to deliver and refine the features of the app. Other things we're working on is a solution to help stop the spread of fake news by introducing a consensus algorithm. We also believe in maintaining freedom of speech on social media because a lot of voices are getting censored for no reason at all. That's not to say that it should be a "free for all" and that anything goes, because we take every step to protect our community from any illegal content that violates the TOS.
What Funds Will Be Used For
We fortunately have generated revenue this year which has helped us, but our burn rate, or amount we spend on development and server bills is greater than our income, so we have an immediate need for funds to help us to continue delivering great features that will change social media for good! We also have a new "next level" app design coming that is built using React Native, so from the ground up the improvements will be significant! This is due to release in March 2021, so these funds will help us accelerate progress for our entire community!
We know it's a lot to ask to help us raise this amount, but by helping us now you will be supporting more than a business, but a movement that is committed to changing the way social media is used and empowers everyday people with the ability to have more control, less censorship, respects their right to privacy and compensates them for their contributions!
