A new and exciting shop for qathet, BC

Greeting World,
My name Is Dee Light and I am a 58 year old Potter in qathet (Powell River) British Columbia for almost 30 years. I have lived here for over 50 years. Never left as I adore my hometown.
With big corporations inching in over the last decades, qathet has managed to withstand the onslaught of these menacing big stores and the good families here have supported many small business start ups by artisans who love to hold on to the old ways. Many of these unique shops are thriving in our community.
I have never held a brick and mortar shop. I have always just sold my grass roots wares at gift shows and festivals. Alas, my body has become unwilling but my mind is strong, so I am biting the proverbial bullet and found a tiny space with great people who want to support an ongoing admiration for locally made arts and hand picked gifts that will offer something different and unique to our town as well as support many local artisans like myself.
A bit about the shop:
It will be a place where many qathet artist and makers can offer their hand made treasures.
We will offer:
Pottery by Earth Inspirations Pottery, handcrafted soaps, Tye dyed items (Including work from the amazing and talented Deadhead himself, Courtenay Pollock), hand crafted cookies, funky stickers and buttons, loose beads, art cards, hand stenciled tea towels and napkins, Maiwa natural dyes, Anna's Incense, clay and pottery tools, hand made 100% beeswax and paraffin candles, raw wool, raw honey, fresh butt nuggets (Shhh) and other items off the farm in season, and much much more.
The most important aspect of this shop will be the badly needed space for makers to come and work on their craft where the public can watch and see the styles and techniques and even learn how to do things like working wool, carding and spinning wool, dyeing fabrics and fibers, candle making, basket weaving, paper making, beekeeping, and much more.
I have always wanted to offer a space where the old traditional methods can be learned and passed down through generations. These little intimate workshops will help keep these ways alive and strong.
We also support our LGBTQ+ community and will offer a safe place for young and old who feel they need compassion and support.
We Are All Human.
So, That is my pitch.
If you feel like you would like to be a part of supporting our little endeavour, any little amount would be very much honored by helping many local artists and makers achieve their dreams of supporting themselves as I have in my life.
BUT, There is a difference in supporting one's way of living and starting up a brick and mortar on a dime.
Deepest love and gratitude for you for considering supporting our start up.
Namastè
