***EDIT*** As the Geo Political situation in Israel and the Middle East has been difficult, the Maccabiah games has been postponed to 2026. This was heart breaking at first but the hope that we will be able to play in 2026 is very exciting!

I am getting ready to head to England to play and train with a club called Fleet wood FC in early September 2025. This is a dream of mine to play in England. As we have more information and are able to let you know how the Maccabiah games will proceed I will keep you updated! Thank you so much for your support and for believing in me and my dream! We just had a meeting with the Maccabiah and the Games are scheduled from June 29 to July 15 2026 in Israel.

Hi, my name is Solomon, and I am beyond proud to share that I’ve been selected to represent Team Canada as the starting goalkeeper for the Under-18 Canadian Maccabiah Soccer Team! This incredible event takes place July 2025 Israel, with games held at the iconic Haifa Stadium and an unforgettable opening ceremony in Jerusalem.

Playing soccer internationally has been a dream of mine since I first kicked a ball at age five. Now, at 15, this dream is becoming a reality. As part of the Chabad Okanagan community in Kelowna BC I’m honored to carry our values of joy, strength, and unity onto the international stage.

This opportunity means so much to me—not only as an athlete but also as a proud Jewish Canadian. The Maccabiah Games are about more than just sports; they’re about celebrating our heritage, connecting with other Jewish youth and athletes and our homeland, and creating bonds that last a lifetime.
