The Environmental Club at West Senior High School is dedicated to making our campus as sustainable as possible. In partnership with Srinergy , a Michigan-based solar contractor, we are hopeful that by spring 2026, West Senior High will have 14 solar panels on our campus, generating 6,920 kWh of renewable energy each year. This initiative is a step toward reducing our campus's carbon footprint and inspiring other schools in our area to begin to pursue clean energy solutions.
Our goal is to create a lasting impact, not just for current students, but for future generations. While Srinergy is generously donating all 14 panels, the funds we raise will go directly toward installation costs. The focus of this project is to create an educational groundwork where students can explore real-time data of solar panels. Students will be involved in every step, which will help educate the importance and logistics of renewable energy.
We invite you to join us in supporting local students who are passionate about creating a brighter, cleaner future. Your contribution will help us build a legacy of renewable energy at West Senior High School and benefit our entire community. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference!
