Support Sol through storage break-in (theft)

I just recently moved out of my long-time home of Grass Valley to take the big leap of moving to O'ahu to follow my heart after many years of feeling the pull back to the aina. I am temporarily staying with family in the bay area to prepare for this next chapter and see friends in the area before I fly on.

I had the big surprise of going to my storage unit the other day and finding the door open with just a handful of items left inside. Everything from my water machine (which took me 2 years to pay off), to all of my altar items (crystals, candles, ceremonial and sacred smoke items), kitchen machines and tools, fire toys, suitcases full of all my clothes, my jewelry and art supplies are all gone.

More than angry, and more than sad, I feel violated. I am shaken up inside, but even through it all, I am keeping compassionate and doing my best to stay gentle with myself and towards others. People who steal things also have mouths to feed and bills to pay. I still feel God supporting me and am reflecting deeply on impermanence, using my tools of movement, breathwork, prayer, being with family and writing a lot. I'm also going to start boxing.
