We are trying to raise money to help our business & workers stay afloat &  pay bills during the Coronavirus shut down. 

SOL Impressions is a small family-run business that provides wholistic massage & facial services in Breckenridge, CO. The bulk of our business is from tourists who come to enjoy the mountains. With the closing of the resort and hotels, all of our appointments started canceling leading up to our closure on Monday, March 16th. Our March numbers are a fraction of what they were last year. 

March is usually one of our busiest months of the year and the money saved helps us pay our bills in the coming off seasons. The governor has said that we can’t open again until May 1st. May is usually one of our slowest months of the year, which means it’s unlikely we will make anything till summer. That’s if we have a decent summer... and by the looks of things, there is no guarantee there. If summer isn’t good, then business may not be profitable again till next December. 

We could really use some help surviving during this time. Many of you may or may not know this, but we spent our savings on the renovation of SOL Impressions  last October/November. We were just starting to recover. Now that we’re completely shut down and generating no income...the savings from this winter is already out of the door. We could really use your support to help us pay for basic expenses and extend some financial help to our workers, so we can all continue to live here. 

As the owner of SOL Impressions, what’s made me feel the saddest over the past few weeks is the thought of losing everything that I’ve built over the last 11 years. As a small business owner, I’m very familiar with the uncertainty and risk of doing business. There have never been any guarantees, but our hard work and perseverance made a life for us here. We’ve weathered some storms in the past, but never have we seen the full shut down of our town’s economy.  As hard as it is to admit that we need help, we do.
