Hi, my name is Joyce Ayala and I'm doing this GoFundMe for my daughter. Unfortunately, I have congestive heart failure and don't work, and her father is looking for work. We can't afford to help her the way she needs financially at this time.

She has recently come to some hard times in her life while in college in California, miles away from home in Florida. Help Sofia stay in school after having a car theft and needing to find new safe housing. Sofia is a dedicated college student working tirelessly to build her future in nursing, balancing a full course load while working three jobs. She has always been there for her family but is now on the other side, needing help herself.

With Sofia's means of transportation to get to her classes and three jobs, being stolen. And to make things worse, she needs to find a new living place immediately. With all her family living so far away, we cannot provide the financial or physical help she so desperately needs to navigate this heavy situation she finds herself in. When Sofia should be focused on her future in nursing, she is having to be distracted with whether she will even get to finish school when she only has a year left and possibly have to give it up.

All donations will go to the necessary means of getting a new car so she can continue to go to her classes and continue to work at her three current jobs. Your donations will also go to help her find new housing and all that goes with doing so. Like any deposits needed, a moving truck, and physical help with that, and anything else that comes with both major sudden life-changing needs.

My daughter is so loving and giving to others; this is why she chose to take up school for nursing. She loves helping others. It broke my heart when all this happened just less than a week ago and only having a short time to deal with these stressful circumstances so soon. Our strong connection to God keeps us hopeful everything will work out. And that our prayers for Sofia will be answered with any donations from anyone who will want to help her.
