Sofia is a beautiful two-year-old girl who has recently been diagnosed with Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an extremely rare brainstem cancerous tumor caused by genetic mutation. DIPG has a historical long term survival rate of <1%. She will be needing aggressive care moving forward, traveling to Washington, DC to receive radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks in conjunction with clinical trials and experimental drugs. Funds will go toward medical bills and associated costs for Sofia’s care, caring for Sofia’s four older siblings, time off work, and more. The Lord is gracious and sustaining the family at this time, and any help with the financial burden would greatly bless this family of 7.
