Support Sofia in Overcoming Tow Yard Injustice
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I am reaching out to you in a time of urgent need. On September 5th, my car was stolen, and thankfully, it was recovered on the 9th. However, the tow yard is demanding an exorbitant fee of $2400 for its release. This situation has left me stranded and homeless in Costa Mesa because my car is not just a vehicle; it is my home and contains all my personal belongings.
To make matters worse, the tow yard refuses to return my belongings, which is against the law. They have broken multiple legal statutes, and I feel that I am being unfairly treated and possibly discriminated against. As a human being alone in this world, this experience has been incredibly distressing, and I am struggling to find the support I need.
I have reached out to every councilman in California, the mayor of Santa Ana, the governor of California, law firms, and various LGBTQ+ resources for assistance. Despite my efforts, I am still in desperate need of help.
This GoFundMe campaign is my last hope to reclaim my car and belongings without facing financial ruin. Your support will not only help me get back on my feet but also restore a sense of security and dignity in my life.
If anyone knows someone in law or has any resources that could help halt this situation from escalating further, please contact me as soon as possible.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to overcoming this crisis.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can provide during this emergency. Your kindness means the world to me.
With gratitude,
Sofia
