Support Sofia & Her Son

Hello,

My name is Jasmine Nevarez and I am a teacher at Alain Leroy Locke High School. I am asking my fellow Locke Saints, friends, and family to help me in supporting one of our own, a member of our janitorial crew, as she as received the terrible news that she has brain cancer.

Our friend Sofia Urquilla, is struggling to financially support both herself and her three-year-old son during this time, especially because Sofia cannot work due to frequent dizzy spells and fainting, though she asks to come back to work often.

Please consider donating to this fundraiser for Sofia and her baby, that way they can have the necessities of life while facing this challenge. If you cannot donate, then I ask that you share her story with your community, so that we may reach our goal of $5,000.
