Hi everyone,

This GoFundMe is for Sofia and Carly who have recently lost their apartment due to the fires that broke out on October 31, 2025. That apartment had been their home since moving here to Birmingham in 2024 and, because of the fires, they have lost the majority of their belongings while salvaging only a few things. Both dancers with the Alabama Ballet, Sofia and Carly moved here to pursue their careers in this artform and are trying to piece everything back together after these fires during the middle of Nutcracker season. We hope that this fund gives them financial relief in this high stress time as they replace all their belongings, find a new place to live as well as manage their ballet careers and their second jobs.
