My name is Sefanja Soekha, and my 3 siblings and I are writing this with heartbreak we never imagined. On October 9, 2025, our world was shattered when our beloved parents, Radjindre Soekha and Poernawatie Badal-Soekha, passed away.
This loss has been sudden and devastating. They were in a fatal car accident and passed away. They were not just our parents, they were the absolute foundation of our lives and the rock for everyone who knew them.
My mother, Poernwatie Soekha, was known for her hardworking, kind and caring attitude towards everyone she met, as well as being an amazing cook. She taught us how to take care of ourselves and each other, to love each other no matter the situation. Our father, Radjindre Soekha, was a smart, hardworking dad who always showed us the value of being respectful and kind.
They spent their lives working hard to take care of us, to give us a solid foundation to stand and build on. They deserved a peaceful farewell, and I am committed to honoring their memory with the dignity and love they gave to everyone around them.
Why need need your help:
With their passing, we are now facing a sudden and overwhelming burden of unexpected final expenses. We are currently trying to raise enough to cover the immediate costs of:
Funeral and Memorial Services: To give my parents the proper send-off they deserve.
Other Expenses: Transportation of my parents and casket.
Estate & Final Expenses: Covering legal fees and winding down their financial affairs.
Temporary Stability: The funds will also provide essential stability for my family during this transition as we navigate life without them and take time to grieve properly.
We are dedicating all our energy to navigating this profound grief, but we cannot manage these financial challenges alone.
Every single share, prayer, and donation, no matter the size, is a light in this overwhelming darkness. Your generosity will ensure that our parents’ final resting place is taken care of, and it will give me the space needed to mourn without the immediate threat of financial collapse.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Helping us share their story is just as valuable.
Thank you from the bottom of our broken heart for wrapping your arms around us and helping us honor the lives of two of the most wonderful people the world has ever known.
With eternal gratitude,
Sefanja Soekha and my siblings,
