Hi, I am Phanan Ngeth. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, Sodany Men, who is more like a sister to me. In April of 2025, she received a shocking diagnosis of ovarian cancer. She initially went to the ER for shortness of breath and complaints of stomach pain. We thought it was more of a GI issue. As you can imagine, how scary this news is for her. On top of her being laid off work the same week she found out she has cancer, how devastating the news hit. This will help lessen the financial burden of rent, car payments, and living expenses. Sodany underwent surgery within the week of finding out it was cancer to remove the mass. Unfortunately, the cancer is now at stage 4, and doctors informed us that it had spread to nearby organs. She received her first round of chemotherapy on May 6 to see if it will shrink the other tumors in other organs. After 3 rounds of chemo, she will undergo another surgery.
