Back legs in casts. He gets to come home today, but has got about six weeks of recovery ahead of

Socks belongs to our youngest daughter, Gracie. He’s a corgi mix that thinks of himself as the goat herder, squirrel chaser, pond swimmer, and chick protector.

This morning, while everyone was headed out the gate for work, our communication lines were crossed and Socks got hurt. He’s currently at the Corsicana Vet Clinic with internal bleeding and a broken leg. The next twelve hours are crucial. He’s resting comfortably while receiving oxygen and hopefully the bleeding will stop and they’ll update his status from critical to stable.
