It is so incredibly hard to ask any of you for any kind of help given the current situation literally all of us are in....

...but soap has taken a turn down a path i was hoping we weren't going to have to go down.

I have an appointment first thing tomorrow with an emergency vet that specializes in cat care, they are going to put in a feeding tube since it's been over 5 days since he last ate, hydrate him with a full 2 hour drip and do their damnedest to stabilize him.

Soap is FHV positive with a viral load that is at the extreme and of the spectrum. His kidneys and liver are starting to attack themselves. He's having trouble breathing still even though his uri has cleared up quite a bit but he wants to fight.

Something is wrong that we don't know about yet and he definitely has the will to keep fighting whatever this is so I do as well. I will make hard decisions if we get to that point but I'm here and now and assuming there's a four digit bill headed my way tomorrow.
