"Hi, my name is Sno. For those who don’t know me, I’m a streamer on Twitch at Sno Bl4ckw1d0ws on Twitch I usually stream the games I play, however every so often I’m incredibly grateful to be invited to DJ for raid trains to celebrating fellow streamers’ milestones and helping raise money for charities. Being part of a raid train that is for me is odd as asking for help like this is very difficult, but the truth is that this support is what’s keeping me from becoming homeless.

I don’t have a safety net. I have no family who can help, no savings, and no backup plan. Over a year ago, I lost my job as an online editor when my position was replaced by AI. Since then, I haven’t been able to secure new work. I no longer have the infrastructure required for online employment, and while I would take any job available where I live,

I’m physically disabled and mostly bed-ridden, which makes traditional work impossible. Streaming is not something I started casually; it’s something I turned to out of necessity. I’ve been fortunate to receive a few digital art commissions, but the main reason I’ve been able to keep a roof over my head, lights on, food on my plate, and my 2 beloved cats fed is because of the incredible Twitch community.
