Support Sniper's Urgent Medical Care
Donation protected
Update as of 05/07:
We have a mix of good news and new concerns after today’s vet visit. The good news is that Sniper’s platelet count has finally returned to normal—thank God!
However, we also found out that his red blood cell count is now low, meaning he’s become anemic. His white blood cell count is also high, which could point to an underlying infection or something more serious. Because of this, his vet has started him on additional medications to try and treat a possible infection while we wait for more answers.
Sniper has to go back to the vet tomorrow morning for more bloodwork, which will be sent to a pathologist for further testing.
Today’s visit cost over $200, and tomorrow’s is expected to be around the same or possibly more. These visits are crucial to getting Sniper the care he needs, but the bills are quickly piling up.
We’re incredibly grateful for every donation, share, and prayer. Your support truly means the world to us and is helping us give Sniper the best chance at getting better.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

05/05:
We are reaching out for help and prayers for our sweet dog, Sniper. Just a month and a half ago, we adopted him, and in such a short time, he has filled our lives with love, joy, and light. He’s a happy, playful boy who has quickly become part of our family.
But now, Sniper is facing a serious medical battle. He has been diagnosed with ITP (immune-mediated thrombocytopenia), a condition where his body destroys its own platelets — right now, he has zero platelets, which puts him at high risk for dangerous internal bleeding.
What started as noticing blood in his urine quickly escalated into emergency visits: we’ve been to urgent care, the animal ER twice, and now we are at a specialty ER hospital where he’s receiving advanced treatment. He’s been put on multiple medications to try to stop the bleeding and stabilize him, but we’ve been told he may need round-the-clock care for several days, including possible blood transfusions, to get his platelet count back to a safe level.
So far, we’ve already spent over $2,000 between urgent care, ER visits, and medications. We are now facing an estimated $6,000 to $10,000 in additional costs for his hospitalization, intensive care, and possible transfusions
This has been emotionally overwhelming and financially draining for us. We’re doing everything we can to fight for Sniper, but the costs of emergency care, medications, hospitalization, and possible transfusions are mounting quickly — and we simply can’t do it alone.
We are asking from the bottom of our hearts: if you can help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit counts, and your support will go directly toward helping Sniper get the lifesaving care he needs.
We also ask for your prayers and positive thoughts during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with us and for loving Sniper as we do.
With love & prayers,
Jordyn & Elijah
