Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for help for our beloved fur baby, Smudge. Recently, Smudge suddenly stopped eating and became very unwell. After rushing him to the vet, we learned he was severely dehydrated and had dangerously high glucose levels in his urine. He now needs to be admitted to ICU for at least two weeks, where he’ll be placed on a drip and a feeding tube—his only real chance at survival.

While Smudge is insured, unfortunately, the treatment he urgently needs isn’t covered. We’re now facing vet bills of up to £10,000, and we simply can’t do it alone.

Smudge has been our sunshine since the moment he made his first tiny sound just hours after being born. He’s had a tight grip on both my heart and my wife’s ever since. He’s not just a pet—he’s family.
