Smrithi, our daughter from Arlington Heights, Illinois, turned 18 this past July. On 23 October'25 , while returning home from college, she was hit by a car. In seconds, a normal day turned into a life-changing tragedy.

Smrithi has battled a severe brain injury, multiple fractures, and has undergone several major surgeries. She now needs your support to stay on course toward recovery. She is in a state not able to recognize her parents and her younger sister.

Our family has been living between hope and fear every single day. Doctors have told us that her recovery will be long and arduous. She will require prolonged care, followed by extensive rehabilitation, therapy, and specialized medical support.

We have utilized all possible resources, including insurance and personal savings. However, the hospital and rehabilitation expenses have become overwhelming for our family with a single breadwinner.

We are raising funds to help cover her ongoing medical needs, continued treatment, and the long rehabilitation journey ahead.
