Support Smokey's Recovery: Quincy's Community Dog

To all friends of Smokey. He underwent a Femoral Head Ostectomy on June 25th. It has been a long and slow recovery but Smokey turned a big corner just this week. He's back to taking short walks around town and doing what he does best: putting smiles on people's faces. I want to thank all those who made donations and rooted for this great pooch. A special shout out to the staff and volunteers at the Quincy Animal Shelter that gave Smokey a place to recover and tend to his needs when I couldn't. To Norm and many employees at the Stop n Shop. Vaughn and staff at the library all the great people at Craig's Cafe and Hannah and Dr Fellman at Angell Memorial Animal Clinic.

Smokey will need further xrays, tests and exams as he is not healing according to schedule so donations are still being accepted.
