Dear Visual Art Students & Parents,

As a present, or future visual art student, I wanted to let you know about a great travel opportunity. This December 3-6, 2025, SMHS's art teacher Mrs. Haas and I, Mateusz Wisniewski, the photography teacher, will be leading our 8th annual trip to New York City. The trip is open to SMHS visual art students, and parents are welcome to join also. We will spend 4 days in New York City viewing art, Broadway shows and taking in the culture of the city. Major highlights of the trip include:

Visiting 3 art museums

1 Broadway Show TBD

Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Broadway Show featuring the Rockettes

Hudson River cruise of NYC sites including Statue of Liberty

911 Memorial

Nighttime Panoramic Observation Deck

Central Park

Times Square

Rockefeller Center

Bryant Park Holiday Shops

The cost of the trip is $1800, based on quad room occupancy (prices vary for less occupancy of hotel room) and tax credit donations can be applied towards the cost of student trips.

The price of the trip includes:

Round-trip transportation via air

Private motorcoach for all local touring

Tour Escort with group 24 hours a day
